ASHISH LOVES NIKE

IT WAS CLEAR ASHISH’S INSPIRATION FOR HIS SPRING 2010 LONDON RUNWAY SHOW WAS PART ATHLETIC PART GLAMOUR.  SO I DECIDED TO TAKE IT A STEP FARTHER PAIRING MY FAVORITE LOOKS WITH THE MOST FABULOUS RUBBER SOLED FOOTWEAR I COULD FIND.

the pastel tones in the sequined bomber coupled with the printed white map t shirt dress create an innocent, fresh, spring feeling that could only be complemented with crisp pair of  Gourmet's Unos in white

a loose yet clingy tee, waist pouch and geenie pants was my uncles uniform in the early 90's and if i recall correctly, he always wore a pair of sleek one color high tops with it. or were they boots?
i think these Hellz Bellz x Vans Hadley Zips will do the trick for this outfit

been around the world and aye aye aye!
the Champagne Nike Air Scandals are the like the sneaker heads gladiator sandal.

whew! sequins, acid wash, and ombre never looked so good together. that was until I replaced those gold platforms with these gold and orange/red Aeroflight Hi Le's

oh baby! all my favorite things in one place:
a crew sweatshirt
quilting
flamingos
sequins
i can't take it.

me and my home girl love pronouncing "beach" in this crazy German accent so that it almost sounds like "bitch"
I see Ashish does too.
since the shirt is already playing with color, why stop there? these Nike Blazer Mids pick up on the blue tones while introducing another color, fuchsia, into the mix.

this skirt is so long you would probably never see what you were wearing on you feet, so imagine if people caught a glimpse of the Nike Air Max Huff Arache as you walked.
men would literally kiss that very surface you where walking on.
[for some reason men go berserk for Huff collabs]

pairing sneakers with a skirt is a major risk, so you gotta throw your balls to the wall and put on your freshest, most eye catching pair if you're gonna do it. I chose the Custom Andy Warhol Airmax 90's to complete the blue and white outfit.

nike's signature slogan and soccer ball shorts can best be finished with these black and white Nike Dunk Highs
it's that simple.

an old school Hawaiian floral shirt and a nike logo tee would never go together, but tweak the fit, add some shine and match them with the right shade of orange and you have my favorite Ashish look.
Something this special could only be complemented by the Cassette Playa x Nike Dunk High Premium

i didn't choose which sneaker goes best with the dress because none of them do!
you could never get away with wearing this dress with any type of sneaker, so i just had fun finding sneakers that picked up the mint color and the shine of the sequin.
