W Magazine takes a stand for sensible shoes with an editorial in this month's issue entitled, Spring Awaking. In the spread, photographed by Willy Vanderperre, Stylist Oliver Rizzo exaggerates the juxtaposition of ready-to-wear with sneakers by pairing technical running shoes with softly tailored and slightly slouched slacks and dresses. The result is hit or miss with some looks achieving a cool girl ease while others look like the woman is on her way to the office where she'll put on her real shoes...
