Marc Jacobs Day, Yay

I could talk about Marc Jacobs all day, but I will try to keep this brief and to the point, first starting with some background info, I learned about him from a TV [or internet] special a few years ago, that first made me fall in love with him and his work.

Did You Know:  
1. Marc Jacobs was very publicly fired from his creative director position at Perry Ellis after the '92 grunge collection he did for the brand. What really sucked was that in following months the trend became incredibly popular and Marc was jobless.
2. Jacobs has had a history of drug and alcohol problems, but in recent years has decided to live a healthier lifestyle and even buffed up. [you go boi]
3. Marc Jacobs negotiated that he would take the position as creative director at Louis Vuitton in exchange for the congolmorate to finance his namesake line
