ME AND KELIS ARE TOTALLY ON THE SAME FREQUENCY

Guess what the working title for Kelis' upcoming album is.... FLESHTONES!!!

Only the single most important trend this spring that I happen to already be obsessed with.

This information was actually made available before I announced Nude as thee color this spring, but I promise you, as a respectable journalist, the album name had No influence on my trend forecasting ; ).

The first singles from the Fleshtones album are Acapella [youtube clip below], They Say and, Scream and Shout [click on song names to listen and download].



All three songs are real electronic/ house, Lady Gaga, sounding. I'll give Kelis a pass on sounding like the trend because she's always been a bit strange, rock/ electronic and it just so happens that's in right now. If Lady Gaga never existed this sound could actually be the natural progression for her music and according to Kelis, it is.
