2010 GOLDEN GLOBES STYLE :FLESH TONES AND OLD DOLLS DID IT FOR ME

Surprisingly, red carpet queens and black dresses were not my favorites at the 2010 Golden Globes. Instead, award show regulars SHINED in flesh tones and Hollywood's old dolls showed us how to age gracefully.

My all night favorite dress was the silver sequined, peach Versace number Christina Aguillera donned
deeee-lisious!

My second favorite was the  Marchesa dress Kate Hudson wore with a pair of Casadei 3504 triple platform pumps. The chest to toe white is almost too bridal, but the volume and asymetry provide just enough edge for the red carpet.

Drew Barrymore in Versace.
I like the hip bump, with out it would have been typical.

Calista Flockhart in Alberta Ferretti
awe : )

Elisabetta Canalis, with Clooney, in Roberto Cavalli

Emily Blunt, the red head assistant from the Devil Wears Prada, in Dolce & Gabbana

Maggie Gyllenhaal in RM by Roland Mouret

Alfred Woodard's daughter, Mavis Spencer, won Miss Golden Globe 2010.
Though she doesn't look happy about it, she does look fabulous in this pinky-peach Valentino Dress

Red Carpet Vets, Sophia Loren, Glenn Close, and Meryl Streep
were the only ladies I liked in black.

NO ISSUE WITH SIZE HERE
If you took a quick glance at red carpet history, one could assume fabulous dresses didn't come larger than  a size 2. These actresses and dress designers blew that theory out the water last night.

Christina Hendricks recalled 1950's Glamor in this, cleavage complementing, Christan Siriano Dress

Precious stars, Mo' Nique and Gabby Sidibe looked radient!!!!!!!

POP COLORS ON THE RED
Not everybody donned the classic evening look [long, dark with sequins]
A handfull of starletts added some, very much needed, energy to the red carpet with short, bright carpet looks.

Ginnifer Goodwin in a cobalt blue Vionnet dress
