PRETTY LACE

Gone are the days of lace being exclusive to lingerie. The fine French fabric has come to be expected on high end evening wear, but lace's big break out moment was when women, mostly thin, wore slips over jeans or opaque tights on the streets.  Now it's getting even more real! Lace is being applied to designer ready to wear, inserted into contemporary apparel and even stunntin on shades.

1st sign of a quality lace: variated pattern

2nd sign of a quality lace: unique motif. Patterns outside of floral arrangements are hard to find.
