The new Kelis video got me thinking about this one from 2006, back when I was naive and hadn't even graduated college yet... Back when Kelis was still with Nas and first cut her hair... When she officially redefined herself as a style icon [in my book]... back when the shoe game wasn't half as fierce as its current state.
